Now eighteen months old, Nugget is loving having a neighbour! Amber is about 9 months old but growing up quickly. She is probably twice Nugget’s size now but they have played together for some time and they have fun together.

They often meet on the front lawn, and when they do they run towards each other. Yesterday, as we were getting back to the house, I took the leash off him to let him run back the few houses and up to the front door as he often does.

He almost made it back to our house when he turned his head towards Amber’s house. I guess he must have heard her as the front door was open.

He ran up to the front door and stood on his back legs stretching to try to see into the house. He didn’t bark, as he is often quiet, but instead continued to stretch to see.

Amber didn’t come to the door and I called him back to go into the house, but not before I took a picture!
