Holiday Monday

I have confessed before to my lack of carpentry skills. Strange that both my grandfather’s had this gift, our son Philip certainly has this skill, but my Dad and I seemed to have missed the gene. But I have enjoyed trying to do some work, trying to use power tools, trying to “get it right”….

A memorable end to January

It’s the last day of January and it is 7 degrees and sunny. Water is running everywhere and the roads are so wet that the glare from the sun is “blinding”. Nugget loves these repreives from the freezing cold we had for such a long time, not that winter is over but it sure feels…
