We’ve been working hard to make The Villa a better place. With 25 houses there’s always lots to do and consider as we work to keep the property updated and in good shape. One of our latest efforts was to cut down 4 old trees and plant 4 new.

This is the time of year to plant trees and while the trees wee cut down a while ago, the new trees are in.

And speaking of planting – one of my small group members gave us a rose bush in June as a thank you for leading the group. It has had a good summer and is blooming like crazy right now. It is giving off yellow and white blooms.

Across the street from The Villa is a school and next to it a neighbourhood playground which is under renewal. They started in June and are just completing it. It has been interesting to watch the equipment arrive and be unboxed and then constructed.

Meanwhile a new bakery opened in Edmonton and we decided to go take a look…can you say YUMMY!! A little pricey, but wow.
