Good Friday was on April 18 last year. Following the Good Friday Service and a bit of lunch we headed to the breeder’s home to pick up Nugget. He was just over 3 lbs, and that was her requirement that he had to be over 3 lbs. His two brothers were 4 lbs when he was just 2 lbs. Over the year he is now 9 lbs and doing very well.

On that day, we took the black bag that was the most of the year his kennel – it is a travel bag but because he was so small we used it.

The weather was nice that day so I sat on the back deck in the blue chair with him on my lap for a while. From the beginning Nugget was a loving little guy who stole our hearts.
