The Motoraunt

When we lived in Edmonton from 2007 to 2011, we really enjoyed having Les, Tiffany, Rob and Shelley nearby. We had a good time together. We each had a trailer, and of course, we were together at events. It was a good group of friends. Life has moved on. Rob and Shelley, after living in Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Bermuda, are now back in Edmonton. Les and Tiffany have been to Winnipeg, BC, Toronto, and back to BC. We await their arrival!!!

This one evening, we went to a unique restaurant that Rob and Shelley had found. A double-decker bus with an addition on it. It had a DIY feel about it, but it was interesting and attractive in a strange way.

Our friend Rob had taken some pictures that evening and recently posted them for us so I grabbed them.

This place was known for its burgers. Not large burgers, HUGE burgers. In fact, near us was a table of firefighters sharing one burger. We didn’t go back as a group but it was a good experience. This place didn’t survive in the long run. They were asked to leave the property they were on (they weren’t in a building), and I don’t know if they ever relocated, but they are gone now.

It was a great burger and a fun place to visit. I wish they were still there but I’m glad to have had the experience with our friends.
