After some spring like weather, we’ve been plunged back into winter. March is cruel like that. And especially out on the prairies. So where do you go to lift your spirit? The greenhouse of course.

While my own flowers are mostly seeded and in the greenhouse – I now have a second greenhouse (thank you Philip)- the flowers at Salisbury’s are in full bloom. Edmonton has a better growing climate than Calgary because we are so much lower in elevation. But even then, we’re quite a few weeks from planting outdoors.

Confession being good for the soul, and in this case the soil, I am a bit concerned at how big my tomato plants will be by then! I may have started a wee bit early. (enter ADHD).

This is Salisbury’s displays…and man does it smell great in there. This place isn’t all that far from us so that’s really nice. More photos to come…
