It’s been a while since we last had a restful vacation. Life can, if we let it drive us along without care for self-care.  Lately we have been guilty of little self-care.

That being said, we’ve always enjoyed our roles, enjoyed the challenges and given ourselves to the cause of Christ. We’ve never seen our work as employment.  No it’s been about the mission and our place in it.

Today the temperature is 28, 82 in farenheit if you’re more comfortable with that scale.

The joy of rest might be a good title for a book. Or I could call it Do what is good for You. Regardless, this short retreat from work and winter has been very enjoyable.
