In this fascinating video, Jay Leno makes a comment about the brilliant engineers and great workers behind men like Henry Ford, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, which is very revealing. I enjoy Jay Leno’s You Tube channel and seeing cars like this are especially appealing.

One day I would love to have a VW bug to work on – an old one, not one of the new ones with all the technology, but the old air cooled small HP, rear mounted vehicles from late 60’s or early 70’s. Don’t ask me why, but it is something I have always wanted to do.

The cars of yesterday might have been a bit more primitive but they were simpler machines and basically less reliable but they were at least understandable.
