We arrived in Alberta in July 2000 and immediately fell in love with the province. There is so much to like in this western province, and while twenty years has changed alot of things in the province we do still see this province as a land of promise for us. Of course we have family in Edmonton so it’s a place that we look to visit often.

As well we have some friends in the city.

Tonight we were watching a BBC series and came across an episode featuring Edmonton which I’ve embeded below. The host takes us on a tour of the Alberta legislature and there was our friend Brian Hodgson. Brian was a good friend, a member of the advisory board and opened many doors for us in government. He has now retired but is quite the historian. His part in the BBC video is excellent and has a humorous side to it! Listen and enjoy.
