Last year Carlyle mentioned to Wendy that her quilt was getting small for her. “Grandma, my feet stick out the bottom, I think I need a bigger quilt!”
Carlyle picked out some colours, primarily purple, for her new quilt and Wendy’s been working on it. It takes quite a number of hours to cut fabric, arrange, sew, finish, put the layers together, trim and top stitch. As I’ve said before it is like wood working but with fabric!
At any rate the quilt was finished in August in time for us to take it to Carlyle when we drove to Edmonton.
We took some pictures when we got to Edmonton – these are without the kids in them… but I do have them too!
