Dear Carlyle,
How are you today? Your Dad told me that you are now able to visit my blog and see what I am writing about and look at the pictures. That is so nice to know! You are growing up, and since you read so well, you can know what I am saying about you and to you! So I thought it would be nice to do a note to you as well as a little video.
In the video, you will see that I am sitting in a blue chair. It’s a very nice chair. Do you know that your Dad made it before you were even born! Yup – it’s a very special chair for me and Grandma, though I think I do most of the sitting in it.
It’s so nice when children make something and give it to their Mom or Dad or Grandma or Grandpa. That’s why when I have something that you or Fitz, or Rachel or Ted or Beth have made I treasure it! I put it where I can see it because it reminds me of you.
Ask your Dad about how old he was when he made the chair and why he made it? It’s a wonderful story and I tell it to people who see our chair. Your Dad is a very special Dad, don’t you think?
Alright, Carlyle, here is the video just for you!
