We recently purchased an inexpensive push mower for around the trailer site – it went together in a snap…just really installed the handle…and we were cutting grass.  It was only after we had it and used it a few times that I started to remember using other push mowers…the faithful forerunners of this rather sleek version.

Remember the old wooden handles?  Remember the very heavy, steel wheels that ran along with some resistance?

Our neighbour must think we’re a bit crazy…well that could be for a number of reasons…wondering why we don’t do like everyone else with the gas mower and trimmer, but we’re very happy with this quiet and green piece of technology.  You do need to repeat a bit as the roller will lay down anything not cut but that too seems to be part of the fun of it all.

Not everything more modern is more fun.
