It is expected that Brother Andre will be canonized by the Pope making him the first Canadian in 20 years to be declared a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church. Fortunately you don’t need to wait for the Catholic Church to declare you a Saint…the Apostle Paul taught that when you come to faith in Jesus; when you ask God to forgive you of your sin and you let the Holy Spirit guide your life you are “adopted into God’s family” and declared to be a saint of God.
26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
