When Wendy and I announced that we were getting married in February we had a number of people question us, “why on earth would you get married in February?” I have to say, we were a bit surprised by people’s reaction. After all we noted from our own observation that good marriages, or bad marriages for that matter weren’t better or worse dependent upon which month they got married.

So, here we are half way through October and buying a trailer for use NEXT summer!! Why would we do that? Well, I think we found a good trailer at a good price. And again, I don’t think having fun out camping isn’t dependent upon when we bought the trailer.

It’s a small trailer, just 16.5 feet but it has a bed, a bathroom, a little kitchen, AC, solar power, and much more.

It’s a lovely trailer and we do look forward to next summer and many nights out under the stars. We were grateful to Philip who showed up and made sure the RV was ready to be put to bed for the winter!

Of course Nugget will be with us, and so far I think he loves the idea of being out in the trailer, though the stairs were giving his some doubts.

We are looking forward to next season, some small trips around Alberta, and we will spend some time over the next few months making a plan!
