I could sure use my brother in law Terry here in Edmonton. If only he and my sister lived in Edmonton!! Another reason for them to consider it.

Having completed the deck, and what a great job I did, it was time to move on to more painting. Thanks to Phil for some coaching…

The steel doors, our front door and the one that takes you to the garage, have been painted cream colour and our house is grey/white mostly. The cream colour just didn’t look right. So I got some sanding disks from Phil and went to work on the doors. Then after a good primer (thank you again Phil) I was able to paint.

The picture above is the door in the garage coming into the house. Below is the final product inside the house.

We had a lunar eclipse recently and I was able to get a picture, not great but a picture, on my iPhone. And last night the moon rise was wonderful – the picture doesn’t do it justice. It was large and orange!

And finally – our roses are doing remarkably well. The yellow is brilliant and we love it.
