It’s been a busy day, a busy week. How did I ever have time to work is a question I have had in my mind this week. The weather has finally cooperated enough to turn my attention back to the deck. Having gotten the staves done around the deck. The boards needed sanding and staining…not the best job, not a permanent job, but good enough for the next five years I hope.

I think it looks pretty good. Now that summer is coming to a close – quickly.

Tonight we were out for supper with Bruce and Karen, Rob and Shelley at the Upper Level Cafe. The evening was a lovely time together and hearing about Bruce and Karen’s trip to the UK.

Friends are important in retirement.
