Our time in BC with Rick and Allison was, as always, a delight and a blessing to us. They have a lovely home but it is their kind and gracious hospitality. Every time we visit them we come away with a deeper sense of the value of our friendship.

This time, Rick and Allison were anxious to meet some new friends, church planters originally from the UK. Tim and Christine are lovely and quite a dynamic duo. They joined us for supper one night and told us about some of their journeys. We discovered that they had been in Prince George, where I have a friend in ministry.

Turns out that we have that friend in common. What a small world I thought.

They joined us at the corps on Sunday as well. And it was a good service that focused on Philippians 1.

On the way home we stopped at Canmore. We love that little town, which in the summer isn’t so little. A stop into the quilt shop for Wendy and Beamer’s coffee shop for me!

One last note, is the irrational behaviour of DJT but that’s what we’ve come to expect.
