Google has announced, in case you’re not aware, that they are no longer a search engine. What you’ve done for the past 20 years is defunk. We are now in a new generation of IT tools. Now, when you go to Google, you are engaging their AI engine. Have you noticed what comes up when you do a search? You get a paragraph, and it’s titled AI summary.
The Government of Canada has announced an enormous project to position Canada to be in the forefront of AI development. They note that this is the technology that will mark this generation the most. Our generation IS a generation of technology. The internet, the personal computer, and the smartphone just to name a few common matters.
We need to guard our finances – don’t be fooled by someone who talks you into sending them money, giving out your banking information, etc. Too many people have been fooled through the use of technology. Have you had an email from someone in Nigeria? Or a call from someone representing Microsoft or the bank or the government? Lots of bad actors in the world today.
So who can you trust?
You can trust the Lord. Our relationship with God is a reciprocal one. We are His, and He is ours. He says that we are the sheep of His pasture. We are His children – heirs with Christ Jesus. We are carved into the palm of His hand. We are a Royal Priesthood. And as such we can know that we can trust Him.
This is why the Psalmist writes, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
