I love listening to Vinyle Cafe and to listen to the stories by Stuart MacLean. Of course, he’s gone, but radio stories are great. Dave rides the bike, and Dave cooks the turkey… I could name a number of great skits.

Of course, there used to be lots of radio dramas, and I listen to many of them now that we have podcasts with them on! It’s amazing to think that many were first broadcast in almost 100 years ago. And of course, many turned into TV programs.

One of my other favourites, though I was late finding it, is the Prairie Home Companion. What makes many of these shows great is the sound effects guy.

When I found these guys on You Tube I realized I can actually watch the sound effects guy or guys… it’s amazing!
