Good times

Yesterday was bright and sunny though the wind had a bit of a bite to it, but following a lovely dinner with the family, including Dave and Sue, we headed out to play in the snow.

Away in the distance, you can see a lone figure doing some cross-country skiing. It’s amazing to watch the kids grow up and get so skilled and independent. I love that they’re little and cute and loving – and you wouldn’t want to keep them little, but while they are, it’s so great.

In other winter news, the seeds are germinating and the little plants are reaching for the light!

These are all tomato plants but other plants are coming…red peppers and butternut squash are also under the lights. I’m not sure about you, but I find signs of spring encouraging. Do you? And what are the signs of spring that you look for?
