As we’re getting to know our neighbours, I was asked by Merle if I was interested in reading a triology of books that he had. He soon brought me a bag of books by Jack Whyte and I’m reading the first of them, The Forest Laird. I’m into chapter four (he writes long chapters) and it is really interesting. I’m enjoying the detail and story line. This will be my vacation reading!

As I was sitting on the back deck reading this morning I noticed that he has an autographed copy!
