What a day – partially sunny, mild temperatures, lots of white snow and two cameras. I walked into Vermillion Lakes, drove over to Bow Falls, walked the main street of Banff, drove along Hwy 1A… and saw just one big bull Elk but he wasn’t where I could stop to get a good picture.

I did grab I think a decent shot of the historic old Banff train station but it is hard to get close to.

Later Phil and I drove up the Icefield Parkway stopping at the Crowfoot Glacier for a few shots.
