The work continues. I think we’re around 100 boxes to-date. It also is purging time for us. I’ve taken quite a bit of stuff to the thrift store as they are open. I’ve made sure that anything electronic works and donated items are clean. If you’re donating to a thrift store this is very helpful. Please don’t send garbage to the thrift store.

There are so many memories in these boxes and we often hold something up and say – “hey this was my grandmother’s” or “remember so and so who gave us this?”.

So packing is not a fun work but there is fun in it as we work our way towards our new reality. And Amanda…put this box in the kitchen!
