When I was a teen, Dad was on the road alot.  I’m not sure how this got going, or how long he had been doing it, but I discovered that when planning his travels (driving) he would consult the Farmer’s Almanac.  Over time he learned that it was, for the most part, very reliable.  It kept that practice going for years and had an interest in the Farmer’s Almanac beyond his travel years.

So I was reminded of Dad the other day when I saw this while waiting in line at the retail check out.  I wonder – will there always be a farmer’s almanac?
