I can’t remember the last time I blogged about a movie. Most of the time there’s something in the movie which I would not want to really promote or, I haven’t really found many good movies, which are frankly stories.
In the past week, we flew to Edmonton and back. On the plane going I stumbled across one great movie and on the return we saw that The Art of Racing in the Rain was playing. Amanda was reading the book, so decided to watch.
So let me go to that one first.
You may have seen or read the book, The Art of Racing in the Rain. This was a great movie, though let me warn you to get out the kleenex box. The story told from the advantage of the dog brings you through some 12 years of story…. I won’t give away the story.
The second movie that I watched was on the flight going to Edmonton. Lincoln J. Esquire is a remarkable story of law and the fight for justice, which is not an unusual story, however this one struck me as representing more truth than fiction though I could find no evidence it was based on a real story. Be warned – I loved it, the critics gave it 6 out of 10 stars.
