Catching up with Jason

img_20190422_115750Early Easter Sunday we arose, but not as Jesus did, from the grave, but to drive to Ottawa to be with Jason for a couple of days. It’s been a while, since January, that we had a chance to be with him.  He recently was offered a full-time position within the federal government as a result of good work and his very successful completion of his Masters of Political Science.

As it turned out Monday turned out to be a very warm and sunny day in Ottawa and we did a great deal of walking around the Byward Market and along Sparks Street.

Along Sparks Street, we came to Jason’s building so we could see where he will be working.  I took a picture of him, which I described as the obligatory photo, and to mark this rather significant moment in time!

So, well done Jason!

We also had a chance to connect with Marc and Adele at their place by the river….and the river was getting bigger by the day! It was a great meal and we all went home very full!
