Autumn has just begun and yet our thoughts have been turning to the summer of 2027. This blog was called Hybrid Thoughts because it began around the same time as our purchase of our 2005 Hybrid Trailer. It was 19 feet long and had tent ends that gave the floor space to living space so we really loved it and used it for many years.

Lately we’ve been thinking again that maybe, just maybe we would like to buy another trailer, smaller though, to use for the next few years.

But wow, the prices have really exploded. Thank you Donald Trump.

At any rate, we have been looking around for something “used”, but not too used.

Campground prices are up, gas too is expensive, and there’s insurance, repairs and yet, to sit under the awning with a coffee or roast marshmallows over a campfire seems, as silly as it may seem, to worth every penny.

So let’s see what happens over the next couple of weeks. It’s not a bad time to get a deal on a used trailer.
