Neighbours!

Happy Independence day to our friends in the USA, and to family there too. Things seem to be a bit tense these days between our countries. But I think that will resolve itself soon. At any rate, we’re here for you, no really, we are.

Now that we’re into July, it is not with the kind of warm temperatures that we are used to having. No it’s been very wet, and in Alberta there is no such thing as a warm rain. I don’t understand the physics entirely but I do know the difference.

And during this time of reprieve from cold weather, snow and ice, we rejoice in the coming harvest that currently is developing on our apple tree and in our garden.

I have mentioned that we have a new neghbour, Don and Marie have Amber, a 3 month old Australian Cooper. She is such a lively little dog and is growing by leaps and bounds. Nugget and Amber have had a few meetings lately to get to know each other and they love being together. Now last year it was Nugget who was driving the older dogs crazy running and barking, this year he’s seeing what it is to deal with a puppy.

Last evening they were out on the front lawn for a bit and I grabbed just some of their fun together.
