Here’s our boy one year ago…and how cute was he then?! He’s such a well behaved dog! I He’s brought lots of joy for us, and while the coyotes were nearby he had no idea of the danger, no he was wondering if they wanted to be friends. A hunting dog he is not.

Life in The Villa goes on, with changes happening all the time, it seems. People are aging out in our wonderful community, and new people are coming in to be new friends. One of our units has been for sale for a while – makes me wonder is it the asking price? Is it the market? Is it a complication in the buyer’s ability to finance the purchase?

The gardens are blooming – finally some sun after days and days of rain! When we got back from Ontario our bearded Iris’ were on the ground from all that rain. The yellow roses and other flowers seemed to enjoy all that moisture.

In related news…the local playground has been closed just as school closes to be refurbished. It will be open again in September.
