It’s soccer season, (football for those who are not North Americans). And last night I got to watch Fitz and team play a game, which they won, 6-1. But of course, winning or losing, the most important thing is having fun, and they did have fun.

It was a great evening.

I am regularly asked, “why did you retire in Edmonton?” And maybe this one experience is reflective of our why – family! We have family in Ottawa too, and we could have gone to Ottawa, but we would have chosen that for the same reason.
