1969, how old were you? I was 13 and discovering that the world of music was interesting – especially this genre of rock and roll. I loved the Beatles, though I think my parents were worried a bit about that, and then there was Chicago, which had “brass” instruments in it, much cooler than the SA band. Oh, and what about some of the Canadian groups coming out, of all places, Winnipeg, as well as groups like this – CCR!

And with my new record player, I decided to pick up a new LP – that’s long playing for you, not familiar with this old technology and brought it home to have a good listen!
