Love of the game! Fitz loves hockey. He said to me the other night, “tell me the name of a team and a player number, and I will tell you their name!”. And we had some fun doing that.

So we went to the Oilers’ Skills Competition. ‘This was on Sunday afternoon, and I think he had a blast! He loves going on the LRT with me and we grabbed Subway before we left and that was his choice. I offered him “anything you want for lunch,” but Subway was his first and loudest request.

Roger’s Place is a loud, colourful, and energy-filled location, and Sunday afternoon saw 18000 people, who were made up of lots of families.

To say it is a skills competition is a bit of a stretch – it is more of a family entertainment afternoon. One of the real fun aspects of the afternoon was a competition featuring the dogs of some of the Oilers’ players.
