When the boys left home, Wendy got a sewing room. Somewhere she could have her machine, her tools, her fabric, and be able to just go in and enjoy her hobby.

When Susan and Jason lived with us for a year, Wendy kept the door closed when Rachel was toddling around because of sharp things in the room – scissors, needles, etc. One day Wendy had gone in her room to sew and the door was closed and Rachel knowing Grandma was in there decided to try to talk to her.

At this point Rachel wasn’t really talking yet, more making sounds than real words. It was so cute! On this day she decided to talk under the door. I pulled out my phone and made this little video! How cute is that!
