Lots of little news from The Villa these days. Today was to be our “get a new bathroom” day, but alas the plumber has Covid. So we are being rescheduled, not what we wanted but not the end of the world! I’m sorry that the plumber is ill, but looking forward to the day they arrive.
Our front room has a lovely big bay window and we have a number of plants that love to sit in the sunshine there! Wendy’s cactus is in full bloom and the blossoms are just lovely.

We have a new chick-fill-A in Edmonton at the West Ed Mall – and two more locations under construction, one in the south and one not far from our house. This place is always busy! Once in a while we will pop over for lunch on a Friday.

And into my inbox popped a picture the other day which we loved. Diane, Brian’s sister sent us this picture which was taken, she says, on New Year’s Day at their parent’s house.

Faces you can see from left to right – Diane, Adele, Me, Wendy, Jason, and Wendy’s Mom, Ruth. A moment in time captured! This is why I love taking pictures – you never know what memory you are capturing. I remember this visit.
Lastly, Amazon delighted me last evening by streaming the Oilers and Canadiens! AND Montreal won in a really great hockey game – fast, great strategy, good clean hockey! Thanks Amazon.
