The thing about moving to a new city is that it takes time to find the places and services that you have grown used to in your previous location. Whether it is a doctor, a dentist, a trustworthy garage and favourite food place. We had a good meat market in Scarborough that we loved. And it was next door to a great Greek bakery.
One of our other favourite haunts was Pho Saigon – a great Vietnamese restaurant – and I think we finally found an equivalent one here. The food was excellent, the price good and we decided that we’ll be back.
But these are not serous problems, are they? Meanwhile we have much to be grateful for and to rejoice. Spring has arrived and we’re getting lots of sunshine. Did you know that Edmonton averages 325 days of sunshine a year? Yup – and I paid $1.39 a litre for gas this morning!

We decided it was time to add a 7th clip to the board! With Jason’s developing relationship with Celine, we’re adding a place for Isabella. We live a long way from them, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t precious to us. All our family is precious, and when you think of it, we all come to the family at different times and in different ways.
