The Inspire conference and Congress were a wonderful way to celebrate. And of course, it did cost some money and some people won’t like that, but if the children of Israel came together several times a year for the festivals, I think I can defend this investment in the life of The Army every few years.

And we got to be with friends and family that are spread all across the country.

It’s not the best picture, but here is Eric Bond (centre) and John Goulding (right) who I am mistaken for and for whom I am mistaken. Just the day before this picture I was passed by someone in the hallway who called out “hi John Goulding”.

And then we got to be with family…

It was great to have my Mom and Cath in attendance – and Cath was wonderful as Wendy and I were tied up in meetings and meals that they couldn’t attend. Thank you Cath!!!

And finally cudos to Wendy for her work – detailed work – as part of the team to make the event run smoothly and bless so many hearts!
