We were encouraged to look to the promise of Isaiah 41:10 this morning. Should you not have it memorized, you could, and it would be good too, but it’s unlikely that up to now you have…so, here it is.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NLT

Worth memoizing? I think so…

Yes, 2023 is upon us, and yes I told at least one person, “hey I haven’t seen you since last year!”

I subscribe to the Economics magazine and frankly, it is one of the best investments I have made. In a world where 144 characters or a 2-minute sound bite is supposed to convey the news, it is good to have something that goes deeper and goes further. I have stopped embedding videos because the link can get lost so easily, but I’m posting this one because I think is really a well-done piece and the second story has such relevance.
