I have a friend, a session mate from our training days at the College for Officer Training and a collegue, who currently is appointed to International Headquarters. In preparation for Christmas cards his assistant connected with me to get our address now that we’ve relocated to Edmonton.

In our chat I suggested that Lee not spend a lot of money on my gift, in fact rather than waste shipping costs, he should just send money. Now of course we both knew I was kidding, but I wondered if Lee might get a laugh out of it.

I guess he did because this arrived in the mail this week….

I had a good laugh when I opened it and imagined Lee doing the same on the other side of the Ocean as he put it together.
