There’s a song we sang in the past which speaks of children and how precious they are to God. One line specifically refers to them as “precious in his sight”, being as precious jewels. The Bible has some very strong words towards those who become stumbling blocks between them and God. It is such a stern warning that I shudder when I read it.

And of course most of us cherish children and do everything in our power to protect them.

I found this in the some things as we were packing and thought I would share it with you. We think Philip did did this one time when he was worried about his Mom and she was sick. It’s a cherished memory at any rate. In case you’re wondering about the reference to the apple. Phil is always reminding me how much he’s like me – “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” is a regular saying !
