When October arrives I recall the many Octobers past that we took advantage of to experience those last hours of sun and a bit of warmth though the air is crisp! We have often taken a week of holidays. Sometimes it’s been just a weekend.

Our years in Alberta it was often a weekend at Pine Lake. That was always nice!

Yesterday we spent a few hours exploring near the lake in Whitby and Ajax. These were new areas for us but my goodness we found some lovely areas! We found some beaches, a few wooded paths, a number of ponds and some boardwalks. Of course the colours of autumn are alive and so I was disappointed that I didn’t hadn’t brought my camera. I did have my phone however and captured some shots with it.
