In 2015 Wendy and I ended up going to California on business. The HQ for TSA was, in those days, down on Long Beach very close to the Queen Mary. Now we didn’t get to go on or even see her, but we could see her stacks nearby.

The LA area is everything a big city has – too much traffic, congestion, lots of shopping and entertainment, but what LA has that we don’t have are the palm trees. We love them, though they are as messy as any tree.

At any rate in this time of isolation, I thought a bit of a journey down memory lane would be nice.
