The kids are back in Ottawa after a great 10 days of “holidays”… Whew, that is tiring.

It’s really amazing, and I have probably said this a hundred times, to see the children of your own children. You see the traits, the similarities, the personalities that are like but yet different than their parents. It’s wonderful!

But it’s now January and they need to get on with school and us to our schedule.

We are in BC this week for the Officer’s retreat with Dr. David Smith – and he’s speaking on the book of Mark. As a gift, we have all received a copy of his commentary.  I’m very much looking forward to his teaching. I took a course from him and found Dave to be one of the best instructors I have ever been exposed to.

Meanwhile – it’s BC and January.
