Summer and gardens – I’m not a great gardner by any means but I love to pull weeds, turn soil, add water, watch the plants grow up. The tiger lilies seem extra bright this summer and perhaps all the rain has brought them to full colour. Most evenings I spend a bit of time outside doing what Wendy calls “tinkering”.

I admit that I love being outdoors and that’s part of the enjoyment for sure, but seeing how the plants change and grow day by day is another part of it. Jason seems to have picked up my enjoyment of gardens – there is just something about the feel of the soil and the results of growing plants that I find quite soothing to my soul.
