Over the past five years I’ve done quite a bit of travel – both across Canada and down into the USA.  It is always wonderful to see other parts of this vast continent.  Wherever I go, so goes my camera.  Over time I’ve carried different cameras – and those who follow along this blog with some regularity know that I presently carry my Canon G10.  It gives me the versatility of an DSLR with less bulk.

Last night I again headed down by the water – there were several photographers with their various pieces of equipment.  I noticed one fellow who was making his way to the far end of the beach and he was very focused on a dark figure – a crane it appeared!  I gave his some room to get his shot then followed to see if I could get one for myself.  Here’s the ones I really liked.
