Earthquake felt in Toronto

Sitting in my chair on the 6th floor I suddenly realized that my chair was rolling from left to right – then I realized that my desk to was moving, and in fact the floor was swaying….

For someone who hasn’t lived in Southern California, or Vancouver this was a first for me.  An earthquake!

Now for the power of social media – while people were gathering to ask “did you feel that” I opened up my BlackBerry, logged on to Twitter and read several posts almost immediately….earthquake felt in Washington, Virginia  Ottawa and Toronto.  As every thing seemed fine I headed to my computer and to this site:
