Heading south of the Great Lakes

Headed out from Fargo ND…a very flat terrain and lots of construction

Pulling out of Fargo North Dakota we headed south …the very flat plains soon gave way to rolling hills, then steeper climbs, larger trees and many lakes.  The damage from the flooding was very apparent especially in North Dakota.

We passed several sugar plants in ND…and obviously the agriculture there supports that as the dairy farmers of Wisconsin seem to support cheese factory outlets!

In ND I got a cup of coffee while fueling up the van…I also drove a few blocks without spilling it…pulling it in the window when it was pointed out by a helpful driver!  Tonight we are in Madison Wisconsin, just north of the Illinois border.  Our goal is to be in our new home tomorrow night – depending on how early we leave tomorrow!  The alarm is set.

Envious – I took the photo as he pulled back in front of us!

At Camper’s World..alas they were closed!
