This was the Supreme Steel Annual Golf Tournament in support of The Salvation Army. A really great day. A great event.
When I looked out the window this morning at 6, I had my doubts about the weather for today. It was raining on and off and the sky was dark and threatening. By the time we had breakfast at The Highlands Golf & Country Club the rain was starting to let up.
The day progressed to sunshine and warm temperatures – it was a good day. The golf game went well, and I thought I played well. Our team even won “most honest team”….which is yes, the polite way of saying the team with the highest score. However we did enjoy our time together and had quite a few laughs.
The BBQ lunch was delicious – and my medium rare steak (and salads) was very enjoyable.
I would be remiss if I didn’t say a public thank you to John and Sally Leder (Supreme Steel Group) for their support and loyalty. They have been most gracious and Wendy and I will miss them. So we’ve said good-bye to another group.
