There are two rather remarkable photographs, or prints of them more accurately, that hang inside our building in Whitehorse. One is a record of The Salvation Army in Dawson City during the days of the gold rush. The other is of a group of Salvationists, men and women, who came to the Yukon through Skagway, Alaska. Having driven from Skagway to Whitehorse in a warm, modern van I can’t imagine doing it as a group the hard way!
