I have a couple of friends who live in Australia, Melbourne to be exact, and today I needed to call him. So I looked up his number and then googled… “how to call Australia”….up popped a number of options but one gave very specific instructions. Then I googled… “what time is it in Australia” and boom I got a pop up clock that gave me the day, date, and time in Melbourne!
It turns out that 4 pm our time is 8 am their time (the next morning)…so I called through to his desk and I got “G’day”….he had just walked into the office!
Wow.
Isn’t technology amazing? And isn’t it interesting that I used google as a verb?
