Second day of autumn

Typically I post on the first day of autumn so this is a departure from the norm just to make sure you’re paying attention.  A few autumn pictures – a couple from when we were in Alberta where autumn can be an amazing time to be out in the mountains!  And then a few from last autumn and a market that Wendy and I visited north of Oshawa.
Looks like it will be a great week in this part of Canada as we start the next season.  Happy harvest to you!

Ottawa in September

A little while ago we took a trip to Ottawa.  We love this city and whenever we return we are flooded with memories of the five years we lived there.  We bought our first trailer shortly after we moved there.  We made some good friends there.  We lived through the ice storm.  We saw our boys grow there.  I celebrated my 40th birthday there.

One of our favourite things to do when in Ottawa is to visit the Byward Market.  Here’s a few photos from our time there.
